We will fly from Paris to Montreal, where we will spend three weeks. We will then rent an RV and spend three weeks driving across Canada to Alberta. There we will return the RV and rent a car for the rest of our stay in Canada.
We plan to enter the US early August 2017. We will rent a car that we will drive from Seattle south to San Diego and the east to Miami. We will either camp or rent places through airbnb or similar websites. We hope that this constant moving will not be too hard on the kids ( and us!). Our first plan was to avoid this by buying a car and caravan but with the shortened trip and changed route it’s not a feasible solution anymore.
Here is a complete plan of our route. It might change a bit as we go along, although as we have booked accommodation in quite a few places in advance we won’t be able to make radical changes. We’ll be visiting many state and national parks , small towns as well as big cities. We plan to visit the sights but also go off the beaten track to get a real feel for life in North America.

Nous allons donc débuter notre voyage par 3 semaines autour de Montreal. Puis, nous traverserons le Canada avec un Camping Car, de Montreal jusqu’à Calgary. Ensuite nous poursuivrons notre voyage en camping jusqu’à Vancouver, où il est prévu de rester un mois.
Nous débuterons notre voyage aux Etats-Unis début Août par Seattle. Puis nous irons jusqu’à San Diego en longeant la côte. Enfin, nous irons jusqu’à Miami. La fin du voyage est prévue pour fin Janvier.
Pendant notre voyage, nous visiterons de nombreux parcs nationaux, des petits villages et des grandes villes. Au programme, les sites touristiques naturellement, mais également des endroits moins touristiques pour se sentir comme de vrais canadiens/américains.
